11. Proper Sizing.

22. Cage Installation.

The easiest way to install a cage is to use lotion/lubrication. Put a thin layer of lubricant on the inner walls of the cage, and coat your penis with the lubrication. It will make sliding the cage on significantly easier.

23. Wash Off Lube.

After the cage is installed, it would be best to rinse off the lubrication to prevent accidental slippage.

24. Urination.

Most devices have a slot in the front of the cage to allow for ease of bathroom use. However, devices point the penis downward, and the penis may not be sitting at the very tip of the cage or might be askew. For the easiest (and cleanest) way to use the bathroom, it’s best to sit down on the toilet.

25. Bathe Daily.

Daily bathing becomes essential for hygiene when locked in chastity. Because of the limited breathability and possibility of trapped urine, it can develop a putrid smell without regular bathing.

26. Drying After Bathing.

The easiest way to dry yourself and your device will be with a bath towel. After you’ve dried as much as you can, use a Q-tip to dry the inside of the cage as well.

27. Daily Lotion.

Use a Q-tip and a bit of lotion (moisturizing works best) to lotion up the inside of the cage and the inside of the ring. Not only will this help prevent chafing (ouch!), but it will also make regular wear significantly more comfortable – especially at night!

Troubleshooting Chastity Cage Sizing

Now that you’re locked, the fun part begins… testing! Here I will be showing you How to Test, What to Look For, and How to Correct Issues. I have laid them out in the most likely order in which it may occur, or identifying if a component is too large/small.

Ring Too Tight

• Test – Get aroused! Do whatever it is that will get you turned on and sexually charged.
• Look for – Once your erection is straining against the cage with all of its might, look for discoloration (dark blue/purple) in the testicles, and a tightness around the ring area. A mild discoloration is okay here, but if you are unsure, remove the device.
• Correct – Remove the device immediately, and attempt to reassemble again with a larger ring size. If the XL is not large enough, we do offer XXL and 3XL rings.

Ring Too Loose

• Test – When you are flaccid and unaroused. This test can take up to 1-2 days.
• Look for – The ring has enough space to “bounce around” while assembled. OR the penis pops out behind the ring unintentionally. OR a testicle slips past the ring (if this happens, please see TESTICLE SLIPPAGE below)
• Correct – Remove the device and reassemble with the next ring size down. If the S ring is still too large, we do offer XS and XXS rings.

Note: Be sure to figure out the ideal ring size before moving onto spacer sizing, it will make finding the ring sizes much easier.

Spacer Too Loose

• Test – When you are flaccid and unaroused. This test can take up to 1-2 days.
• Look for – The head of the penis slipping behind the cage (but not behind the ring). OR the head of the penis is not reaching the head of the cage. OR a testicle slips past the ring (if this happens, please see TESTICLE SLIPPAGE below)
• Correct – Remove the cage (ring can stay on if you would like), swap the spacer and locking pin to the next size down. If the ‘A’ spacer is too large, we also offer a smaller Model Z option.

• Test – Get aroused! Do whatever it is that will get you turned on and sexually charged.
• Look for – Once your erection is straining against the cage with all of its might, look for discoloration (dark blue/purple) in the testicles, and a pressure where the cage and testicles are touching.
  • A mild discoloration is okay here, but if you are unsure, remove the device.
• Correct – Remove the cage immediately (ring can stay on if you would like), swap the spacer and locking pin to the next up.

Anti-Pullout Too Loose

• Test – Wear the device and anti-pullout for a minimum of 2 days.
• Look for – The penis accidentally slips behind the anti-pullout before the 2 days. OR after 2 days, try tilting the device forward and pulling your penis out. If there is little-to-no resistance, it is too loose.
• Correct – Remove the anti-pullout and move to the next size down. If the S anti-pullout is too large, we do offer XS and XXS anti-pullouts.

Anti-Pullout Too Tight

• Test – Wear the device and anti-pullout for 2-4 days. Try to obtain multiple erections during this time.
• Look for – Pain/discomfort/itching/burning in the anti-pullout region of the penis.
• Correct – Remove the device immediately and check for any markings on the penis. Try the next size up. If the L anti-pullout is too small, we do offer XL and XXL anti-pullouts.
  • During the initial sizing of the anti-pullout, it is recommended to remove the cage after a few days to check for markings. In very rare cases, customers have experienced no discomfort, but still had an anti-pullout that was too small. We recommend trying a 3-day test, 5-day, 7-day, and 10-day test (resetting the clock each time).

Getting Started With Your New Chastity Cage

Now that you’ve got your measurements covered, you’re ready for the purchase. But, always remember what follows if it’s the first time you buy a high-end chastity cage like The Vice.

• Bigger is better – While small chastity cages are great for comfort, when starting off, it’s better to start with components (rings/spacers/anti-pullouts) that are large/spacious, and then working your way down to smaller sizes. 
• It still takes time – it is unlikely you will find your ideal sizes on the first one or two attempts. In addition, some parts make take up to a few days before you realize it’s the wrong size. Don’t try to rush the process; you will be less satisfied and it will take longer if you do.
• Listen to your body – You are going to be experiencing many new sensations and feelings down there. If something is pinching/hurting/uncomfortable, your body is telling you something, don’t ignore it. Remove the device to see what’s happening, and if something needs to be adjusted.
