Bathing With Your Chastity Cage

Bathing or showering daily becomes necessary when locked in chastity (twice a day is even better, but not necessary). You want to wash away any sweat, bacteria, or grime that has been built up over the course of the day.

When bathing, ensure you wash your genital region thoroughly with soap and water. Next, it’s important to get soapy water inside of the cage. The easiest technique for this is to get some body wash and squirt it inside, cup your hand underneath the cage to let it fill with a bit of water and slosh it around to get a thorough cleaning inside – like you are making a cock-tail.

After bathing, dry yourself and your genitals thoroughly. Then get a cotton swab and dry the inside walls of the cage. You want to pick up as much moisture as you can, but it does not need to be perfect.

Finish it off with a small amount of moisturizing lotion squeezed inside of the cage and spread around with another clean cotton swap. This will help prevent chafing, and as an added bonus, it will make the penis much more sensitive when it comes out for play.

A small amount of lotion applied around the ring after bathing will also make the device substantially more comfortable.

Using The Restroom With A Chastity Cage On

Going to the restroom is inevitable when you’re locked up. And depending on the cage, it can be a messy experience. To maintain proper hygiene in chastity, it’s crucial that you clean yourself up thoroughly after each restroom usage, as this is the quickest way for your cage to become… unpleasant.

Being locked in chastity, you are likely sitting while you pee. Once you finish, wipe any urine that splattered or dripped on the testicles first. Afterwards, get 2-3 sheets of tissue paper and roll it up like a playdoh worm.

Insert about half of the tissue paper worm into the cage and twist it a few times to pick up any urine that may be lingering inside of the cage. Remove the tissue worm from the cage and dispose of it. This technique will greatly help you in maintaining cleanliness and proper hygiene for a long duration of time.

How To: Chastity Cage Deep Cleaning

Deep cleaning your chastity device is when you unlock and remove the device completely, and give it a thorough cleaning. There are three methods of deep cleaning, and you can choose which one works best for you.

  1. Soap and Water – simply clean the inside and outside of the cage and other parts with anti-bacterial soap and water. You can also use a dedicated toothbrush to reach small nooks and crannies. This method is quick and effective, and safe for all chastity devices.
  2. Dishwasher method – for those who want a more thorough clean: rinse off your cage and any buildup and stick it in with the next dishwasher cycle you run. The high-temperature water and soap will give it a total disinfection clean. This works for all stainless steel devices and certain temperature resistant plastic devices. (If you are unsure if your plastic device can withstand it, don’t use this method).
  3. Boiling water – another quicker method for those who want that total disinfection clean. Rinse off any grime on the device and bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Stick the device in the boiling water for 5 minutes. This is also a method that is used only for stainless steel devices and temperature resistant plastic devices.

A deep clean should be done every 1-2 weeks. You can go longer between deep cleans if you maintain exquisite hygiene throughout your lockup, and if your chastity device is well-ventilated you can delay any deep cleans for even longer periods of time.

A good habit to get into is performing a deep clean whenever the chastity device is removed.
